ROOM 455 - Street Art

In a dream I was compelled to search for this room 455. I'm not sure why, it was just a dream....
~ I'm running thru time warps: 18th, 19th, 20th century as well as modern times. Going thru forests and cities at a very fast pace, manically searching for room 455. Finally I end up in a dilapidated and graffitied warehouse. I go to the elevator and press the 4th floor. It stops at the 3rd.
The door closes and it goes to the 5th floor. The elevator repeats itself and won't stop at the 4th floor. Again I don't have an understanding of why I can't get to the 4th floor.~

"ROOM 455 - POE #1"
The dream was so vivid that I decided to use snippets from it as an inspiration by doing a series of street art on rat traps. When finished there will be 30 one-of-a-kind paintings in "ROOM 455" series.
Each rat trap is carefully taken apart, ink stained and hand painted using the process of adding and subtracting layers of acrylic paint and ink. There is no collage, nothing is glued on the wooden part. It is varnished for protection and then re-assembled.

It is signed, coded and dated.  Ready to hang.
